Boot into Safe Mode on Windows 11 Systems in a Few Steps

Restarting in Safe Mode allows your system to temporarily disable drivers and features. It makes the system more stable. This mode will allow you to determine all critical system issues affecting the PC. In this tutorial, I will show you how to boot into Safe Mode on Windows 11 systems.

I will show you two ways that you can use to boot into safe mode. Both methods are straightforward, and you can use either one whenever the need arises.
Method 1: Apply Settings
Step 1: Click on the the Windows icon in the taskbar. To select Settings tooth. (You can use the shortcut keys Win + I to open the app too)
2nd step: Make sure you are in the System Settings in the left pane. Scroll down in the right pane and select Recovery.
Step 3: To select Restart now.
Step 4: Reconfirm your option and select Restart now.
Step 5: To select Repair.
Step 6: Click on Advanced options.
Step 7: To select Start Parameters.
Step 8: Click on the Restart button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 9: On the BitLocker screen, tap Enter Continue.
Step 10: Enter your BitLocker recovery key. If you don’t know your recovery key, use your Microsoft account to find it. After entering the key, press Enter.
Step 11: You will get numbered options on your screen. Options 4 – 6 are applicable for enabling safe mode. Use the number keys on your keyboard to make the appropriate selection.
Method 2: Safe Mode on Windows 11 at System Startup

- Turn on your computer.
- Press the power button on your laptop / PC. Do this twice.
- The blue screen Choose an option the screen will appear. Follow now Steps 5-11 as shown in Method-1.
