Steel Design Training to BS5950 (½ Day)

Who will benefit?

Steelwork designers who are already users of the SuperSTRESS software or who have attended the 1 day Analysis and Modelling Training and would like to increase their knowledge o include the steelwork design module. The training will give a complete overview of all the features and options available to the designer allowing them to free up more time by increasing their skill and efficiency in using the software.

• Use and control of tabular input – for quick input of repetitive data
• Graphical manipulation of the model
• Simple connections
• Concatenated members
• Single element design
• Cyclic analysis and design
• Common mistakes and problems to avoid
• Technical support – options and availability for quickest response times
• Other modules available and future development plans

Training will be partly lecture format with worked examples (your own if you pass them to us in advance), training notes and hands-on usage to promote confidence in using the software.
