SuperSTRESS Tip 6

Paste special

The sixth of our user tips series involves use of the Windows clipboard in copy and paste special. You can copy values from any of the SuperSTRESS tables and then paste them back in using paste special to create more complex structures or to save you time re-creating multiply entries. By selecting the table rows instead of the individual values you can insert your copied data.

View Demonstration

  • Select the values that you wish to copy by right clicking and selecting "Copy"
  • Then select the values you wish to overwrite, right click again and select "Paste Special"
  • The Paste Special dialog appears, this allows you to choose from a variety of ways to manipulate the data you copied onto your clipboard
  • Clicking "Paste" will overwrite the selected data with the changes you have made

More tips and techniques like this are covered in our training course.
