Enhanced loading options for SuperSTRESS

With new loading options in SuperSTRESS you can now add automatic Member Area Full loads to your structural members for quick, easy and automatic calculation of wind loads to unclad structures.

This new loading type is particularly useful for bridge, and railway applications where railway gantry design warrants the calculation of wind loading directly on to the structural members.

Loading is applied directly to the surface area of the member in the local z or y direction with SuperSTRESS automatically calculating the total loading in the chosen direction

Easier and quicker reinforcement result in WoodArmer

Wood-Armer is used to aid the design of a reinforced concrete slab idealised as a grid frame or space frame. Used with either our SuperSTRESS Grillage or Space module it uses the analysis results to determine the reinforcement moments in the top and bottom of the slab according to the basic Wood and Armer equations.

Enhancements to this module in version 6.6 now allow for the main reinforcement to be set to any direction, allowing more flexibility and control in creating your slab geometry.

Professional reporting

With SuperCONCRETE BEAM you can produce accurate, quick and detailed beam design reports to BS 8110 in minutes.

Our beam interaction enables you to quickly and easily modify any area of the individual span design with interactive views of the main steel, curtailment and links. Adding and modifying link zones is easy and redistribution can be carried out in an instant.

The enhanced interaction view can be included in all reports created within SuperSTRESS and fully exported to Word for further manipulation.
