Super ENGINEER incorporates all the functionality of the user-friendly SuperSTRESS structural analysis program together with design, loading and detailing modules which can be selected to suit your business. The complete package can include reinforced concrete beam and column design, steel design, bridge loading, Wood and Armer moment calculation and reinforced concrete detailing. It is a superb, easy-to-use, integrated suite of construction design software essential for all small businesses. The following features are available to the user, all within the user friendly SuperSUITE environment:

• steel grades, effective lengths, restraint positions and beam/column eccentricities can all be modified to refine the design
• steel design checks on all or part of the structure with auto design for minimum weight or depth
• automatic design checks to all relevant BS8110 Clauses for concrete beam and column designs
• nominal cover to reinforcement evaluated from exposure, fire resistance and material properties
• design all of the columns in the structure in one go with automatic grouping based on initial section size. Full design calculations and reinforcement layout reports with references to BS8110 Clauses
• user interaction in the design of reinforced concrete beams allows precise detailing of the individual beam with control over groups, layers and curtailment lengths for each design zone
• for the bridge engineer the load generation module allows variable lane geometry with any number of straight or curved segments with load types Axle, HA, HB, KEL, line, patch and point and automatic generation of load trains
• Wood-Armer allows the user to automatically calculate slab moments from SuperSTRESS results
• following the analysis and design you can generate an automatic reinforcement drawing of any of the concrete designs
• links to SuperCAD/AutoCAD to produce fully detailed and scheduled reinforcement drawings and details with all bars given marks and shape codes and grouped into member references for either BS4466 or BS8666
• completely customisable drawings with control of labelling methods, borders, schedule headers, bar representation etc.
